Effectiveness can be a very broad topic and it becomes challenging when you are working within different cultures and different boardroom expectations. This is a unique opportunity to listen to the insights, challenges and successes from two diverse clients.
Karen Hand, independent Strategic Planner, will facilitate a discussion on whether and how we can reach world-class effectiveness.
- Is it easier to make effective work with a large or small client?
- How can we deal with inadequate or excessive data?
- And importantly, how are the twin goals of creativity and effectiveness related and how do we strike the right balance between both?
Rachel Kelly is acting Marketing Director of Water Wipes – a small Irish brand which has had huge commercial success in Ireland, the U.K and the U.S. Rachel has over 20 years marketing and brand development experience working for some of the biggest FMCG companies like Unilever and L’Oreal, with a particular expertise in the health & beauty and baby industries. Rachel has had plenty of exposure to the Irish and UK agency scene and spent 5 years on the agency side working as a planner in Bates and Carat. Rachel set up her own marketing strategy consultancy business 4 years ago and has worked on some great projects with Coca Cola Hellenic, WaterWipes, Parcel Motel, McCain and the DAA. Rachel also lectures on a Masters in Global Branding in Griffith College.
Deirdre Wafer is Senior Strategic Planner in Virgin Media and former co-author of the Gold Winning Liberty Insurance 2014 ADFX case. Deirdre is currently working with Virgin Media Ireland, prior to that she was with Liberty Insurance and Meteor Mobile. She is experienced in identifying insights and market trends to inform marketing led solutions, working within teams to deliver ambitious business results.She has created, designed, tested and established effective tracking and measurement processes & models central to driving and achieving business success.
