Ads Development Workshop
Starting from September Google Chrome and Mozilla have stopped supporting the (in)famous Adobe Flash Player plugin and with this decision comes to an end the long era of Flash Ads which will now be replaced by the HTML5 format.
Developing ads in HTML5 can be a difficult task especially for developers and designers used to work with Flash.
What is it?
During the workshop attendants will be asked to code from scratch a standard ad and they will learn how to upload it and distribute it on the DoubleClick Network. This course seeks to underline the importance of knowing the basics of web development and the difference between coding and using visual tools for HTML5.
Who is it for?
Designers with basic coding skills, Flash developers who want to learn how to deal with HTML5, people working in online media interested in learning how to code ads.
Basic understanding of coding principles is preferable but not required.
To give the participants the tools to understand the structure of the various HTML5 ads, to learn how to identify and fix potential issues with creative and learn how to publish and distribute them through the DoubleClick network.
